Founded in London, Rubielle was born from a desire to create a jewellery house shaped by identity, permanence and a contemporary understanding of luxury.

Yet the perspective behind the Maison began taking shape long before its founding.

Rafaela de Mello’s connection with jewellery grew from the stories of her mother, who had worked in jewellery design and creation before Rafaela was born, as well as from the personal collection she preserved from that chapter of her life.

When Rafaela decided to transform this heritage of references and influences into a Maison, she deepened her study of fine jewellery — from gemstones and precious metals to cutting, finishing and the construction of each piece. What had been cultivated over many years gradually found its own form, purpose and identity.

Although founded in London, Rubielle has always carried the Brazilian roots of its founder. Preserving them was never simply an aesthetic or commercial choice, but an intrinsic part of the Maison’s identity.

Rubielle was shaped at the meeting point of these worlds: an international perspective on jewellery, the understated refinement of London and the strength of its Brazilian roots.

Rubielle was born from the union of Ruby, one of the most emblematic gemstones in fine jewellery, long associated with strength, passion and presence, and Elle, the French word for “she”.

Together, they form a name that reflects the woman at the heart of every Rubielle creation.
